Job Description
Discovery & Wellness Counseling is seeking licensed clinicians to join our growing private practice . We are expanding in North Phoenix/Anthem and Scottsdale and are looking for motivated, values-driven therapists who are ready to grow their careers in a supportive and professional environment. We are particularly interested in clinicians who demonstrate strong time management, clinical integrity, and a commitment to both client care and personal balance. About Discovery & Wellness Our mission is to create meaningful change from the inside out by challenging mental health stigma and delivering high-quality, results-driven care. We prioritize intention, kindness, and transparency in all aspects of our work, creating a culture of trust and clinical excellence. We provide counseling services to individuals (15+), couples, and families, offering both in-person and secure telehealth sessions. In addition, we host workshops and trainings throughout the year, giving clinicians opportunities to expand their specialties and professional interests. Position Overview This independent contractor role involves providing ethical, evidence-based clinical services in alignment with Arizona Board of Behavioral Health standards. Clinicians will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapeutic care. Key Responsibilities Provide individual, couples, and family therapy Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment and discharge plans Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries) Manage scheduling, client engagement, and follow-up Facilitate occasional group therapy sessions Coordinate with Clinical Director and complete billing and administrative tasks What We Offer Flexible scheduling Private office space (for in-person sessions) Competitive compensation Opportunity to build and grow within a private practice setting Support for developing specialty areas, workshops, and trainings Professional, collaborative team environment Qualifications Master's degree in a behavioral health field Active Arizona license (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in good standing with AZBBHE Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience with individuals, couples, or families Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of DSM-5 and clinical documentation standards Experience with electronic health records (SimplePractice preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.)
