Job Overview We are seeking an experienced California-licensed mental health professional to lead and oversee a therapeutic support program serving people affected by the Altadena fires on a part-time basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a small clinical team, coordinate comprehensive patient care, and implement innovative treatment strategies. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for supporting individuals with diverse mental health conditions, including neurodevelopmental and co-occurring disorders, while fostering a positive, collaborative environment. As a leader, you will ensure high-quality service delivery, compliance with healthcare regulations, and continuous program improvement to enhance client outcomes. Responsibilities Lead and supervise clinical staff in delivering evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and patient assessments to develop personalized treatment plans. Coordinate group therapy sessions, individual counseling, and family counseling to promote holistic care. Manage crisis intervention and crisis management efforts to ensure client safety and well-being during emergencies. Maintain accurate medical documentation, electronic health records (EHR), and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Facilitate case management activities, including client communication, progress tracking, and coordination with community resources. Conduct clinical supervision and provide ongoing training to foster professional development within the team. Experience Proven experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with mental health conditions. Strong background in social work, mental health counseling, or related clinical fields with supervisory or management responsibilities. Demonstrated expertise in working with individuals with co-occurring disorders such as substance use and mental health conditions. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and medical terminology. Experience in crisis management, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care approaches like PTSD care. Knowledge of behavioral management techniques including applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior modification strategies.
