We're looking for a passionate and motivated Licensed Resident in Counseling in VA to join our growing practice and help clients achieve their mental health goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals facing various challenges. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their needs and develop personalized treatment plans, including diagnoses, and case notes. Provide individual sessions utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards. Maintain and manage an appropriate caseload:

Full-time:

Minimum of 25-30 clients per week, equaling 28 visits weekly.

Part-time:

15-20 visits weekly. Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings. Skills Master's degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited college or university. Resident-level candidates (master's level, pre-licensure) are encouraged to apply. Eligible or on track to obtain licensure in a designated field (e.g., LMFT, LPCC, LICSW, LPC, LCSW). Experience completing diagnoses, treatment plans, and clinical case notes. Experience working with children ages 6 to 12 is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Office applications. Comfortable working with a diverse client base. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
