Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) - Bilingual Rendering Provider We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic behavioral health team as a Rendering Provider . In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. The ideal candidate will have experience with Optum , H2017 services , clinical documentation, behavioral health billing requirements, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using applicable ICD-10 coding standards . Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches, including CBT, trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy . Provide individual, group, child and youth therapy, family counseling, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and other services within the scope of licensure. Serve as a Rendering Provider , accurately documenting the clinician responsible for each service. Provide behavioral health services through Optum , including services associated with H2017 , while complying with payer requirements. Complete accurate and timely documentation in EMR/EHR systems. Provide crisis intervention and crisis management services when clinically necessary. Utilize telehealth platforms to provide accessible mental health services. Participate in case management and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, healthcare providers, families, and community resources. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, clinical regulations, and payer requirements . Provide culturally competent services to English- and Spanish-speaking clients. Maintain accurate medical records and support appropriate ICD-10 and CPT coding . Participate in quality improvement, outcome measurement, and data collection activities. Requirements Active and valid LMHC license in the applicable state. Bilingual in English and Spanish . Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, co-occurring disorders, trauma, and PTSD. Knowledge and experience with
CBT, ABA
principles, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and trauma-focused interventions . Experience with Optum and H2017 strongly preferred. Ability to work as a Rendering Provider and meet credentialing, documentation, and billing requirements. Knowledge of
ICD-10, CPT
coding, medical terminology, and medical records management . Experience in outpatient or inpatient behavioral health settings preferred. Telehealth experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and crisis management skills. Commitment to cultural competence, ethical integrity, and HIPAA compliance.
