This position involves working closely with patients to provide direct care, assist in therapeutic activities, and ensure a safe and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong understanding of various therapeutic techniques. Duties This is an independent contractor position with no benefits provided and you will receive a 1099 at the end of the year. Implement treatment plans as needed to ensure adherence to established protocols. Facilitate therapy sessions and engage patients in therapeutic activities. Assist in crisis management situations, employing de-escalation techniques as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and interactions in compliance with facility policies. Skills Candidates should possess the following skills: Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and their application in a clinical setting. Experience in providing direct support within behavioral health environments. Familiarity with special education practices and how they can be integrated into mental health care. Strong crisis management skills to handle emergencies calmly and effectively. A background in counseling is required for supporting patients through their mental health needs. Masters in mental health counseling or Clinical Social Work is required for this position. Looking for
LMHCA, LMHC, LICSWA, LICSW, LMFTA, LMFT
licensure. This is essential for fostering a positive therapeutic environment where individuals can work towards recovery and improved mental well-being.
