Job Description

Mental Health Counselor / Therapist North Metro Psychological Services is seeking a warm, motivated, and compassionate mental health clinician to join our growing team. This position may be a good fit for a therapist who values collaboration, clinical growth, flexibility, and meaningful work with children, teens, adults, couples, families, and groups. About North Metro Psychological Services North Metro Psychological Services is a well-established private practice located in West Marietta. Our practice provides psychological evaluations and counseling services for individuals and families across the lifespan. We have specialized experience in autism, ADHD, learning differences, anxiety, depression, relational concerns, executive functioning challenges, and neurodiversity-affirming care. We are intentional about creating a practice environment that is supportive, inclusive, and collaborative. Position Opportunities This role may include work with individual clients, couples, families, and/or groups, depending on the clinician's interests, training, and experience. We are especially interested in clinicians who enjoy working with neurodivergent clients, including individuals with autism and ADHD, as well as clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relational difficulties. Candidates should be flexible, emotionally grounded, receptive to feedback, and interested in contributing to a supportive practice culture. Applicants should meet the following qualifications: Fully licensed or license-eligible as a Psychologist, LCSW, LPC, or LAPC Doctoral or master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related mental health field from an accredited college or university Interest in maintaining a caseload of approximately 10-30 clients per week Experience with, or willingness to develop experience in, working with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and relational concerns Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming and inclusive clinical care Openness to working with clients from diverse backgrounds, including differences in race, gender, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, socioeconomic status, and marital status Commitment to continued training, consultation, supervision, and professional development Willingness to maintain outside supervision if practicing as an associate-level clinician Interest in team consultation, collaboration, and shared clinical learning Benefits Flexible schedule Hybrid remote option Supportive private practice environment Steady referral opportunities Collaborative clinical team Location North Metro Psychological Services Marietta, GA 30060 Hybrid remote or fully remote in Marietta, GA 30060.
