Relaxed atmosphere Growth opportunities Flexible working hours We are seeking an outstanding Mental Health Counselor (Limited Permit may apply) to provide support to people suffering from a wide variety of issues. The Mental Health Counselor we seek must speak Spanish and English. Must be responsible for carrying out a full spectrum of activities involving direct service to clients, including case management and support, and the establishment of individual treatment plans.Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Counseling or related field
- Valid New York State licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (MHC) or MHC-Limited Permit
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish languages
- Demonstrated expertise in behavioral therapy and patient assessment
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
- Experience in working with individuals with mental health disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
