Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Provide individual counseling sessions employing modalities Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma-related distress Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices like motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychopharmacology coordination, and behavior management Document all patient interactions meticulously within HIPAA-compliant medical records while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to medical documentation standards Engage in clinical research activities and data collection efforts to improve treatment outcomes and contribute to ongoing mental health studies Qualifications Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field; licensure or certification as required by state law for clinical practice Proven experience in mental health counseling across outpatient, inpatient, or clinic settings with diverse populations including children with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), CPT coding for billing purposes, and ICD coding systems for diagnosis documentation Experience with telehealth platforms and delivering remote counseling sessions effectively Familiarity with crisis management protocols and skills in handling emergency situations involving PTSD care or grief counseling Ability to work with individuals facing gender issues counseling or chronic pain management while demonstrating cultural sensitivity and empathy Excellent communication skills with the ability to perform patient care assessments accurately and manage complex cases involving addiction counseling or special education needs Join us in transforming lives through compassionate mental health care!
