Job Description

We are a growing private practice seeking a compassionate and motivated Mental Health Counselor with a Limited Permit (MHC-LP) in New York State. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain clinical experience in a supportive and collaborative environment. Graduate students who will be completing their Master's this summer or fall are also encouraged to apply (position would begin as a paid internship, with opportunity to be hired after graduation).
Requirements:
Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field Active Limited Permit (MHC-LP) in New York State Strong interest in providing individual psychotherapy to a diverse client population Professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
Provide individual counseling to clients under clinical supervision Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Attend weekly supervision meetings Collaborate with colleagues to support best clinical practices We offer flexible scheduling, administrative support, supervision hours toward licensure, and opportunities for professional growth.
