Job Description
Perform biopsychosocial assessments and treatment planning. Provide assessment, consultation, and brief intervention for psychological/psychiatric problems and/or disorders. Offer comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of behavioral health clients. Provides counseling, therapy, and education to patients seeking ongoing behavioral health services as well as behavioral health consultation to improve psychosocial function. Educate patients, families, and staff on care, prevention, and treatment enhancement techniques. Performs commitment determinations and/or executes orders of involuntary commitments. Evaluate crisis situations and apply appropriate interventions. Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team and communicates effectively with members to address the patient's concerns. Actively participates in meetings that support CMC's health care model to provide comprehensive care for clients.' '
