Hybrid Remote in Kernersville, NC About Counseling with a Purpose At Counseling with a Purpose, we help good people get through hard times. We are a growing outpatient private practice committed to providing ethical, compassionate, and culturally responsive mental health care while creating a healthy and sustainable work environment for clinicians. We are currently seeking a fully licensed therapist to join our collaborative team. What Makes Our Practice Different We intentionally protect our clinicians from burnout, excessive productivity pressure, and overwhelming caseload expectations. Most Full-Time clinicians average approximately 18-26 clinical sessions weekly, allowing time for documentation, personal wellness, professional development, advocacy, and meaningful community engagement. We believe clinicians provide their best care when they are emotionally supported, professionally respected, and able to maintain balance outside of work. The Role We are seeking a therapist who is passionate about providing high-quality outpatient therapy services to individuals, families, and couples from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities Include Conducting clinical assessments Developing individualized treatment plans Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions Maintaining timely and accurate documentation Supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relational stress, and emotional regulation concerns Collaborating with community providers and referral sources Participating in team consultation and professional development Ideal Candidate Qualifications Active unrestricted North Carolina license (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, PsyD, or Licensed Psychologist) Trauma-informed and culturally responsive Strong communication and documentation skills Dependable, collaborative, and emotionally intelligent Values authenticity, boundaries, and sustainable clinical work Able to work independently while remaining connected to a team Passionate about serving diverse populations This Position May Be a Great Fit If You Want meaningful clinical work without sacrificing your peace Are tired of high-volume burnout environments Value flexibility and autonomy Want to feel supported rather than micromanaged Believe therapists deserve healthy workplaces too Want your career to support your life instead of consume it How to Apply If you are interested in joining Counseling with a Purpose, please submit your resume through Indeed.
