The Opportunity We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated pre-licensed mental health therapist, a post-graduate clinician working toward LPC or LPCC licensure to join our team under the supervision of our approved LPCC supervisor. You'll build your caseload with support, gain hands-on clinical experience, and work with clients both in-person at our Bloomington office and via telehealth. In this role, you will provide evidence-based psychotherapy and mental health counseling to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, while receiving structured clinical supervision toward full licensure. Requirements Master's degree in counseling or a related mental health field Working toward LPC or LPCC licensure in Minnesota Willingness to participate in required individual and/or group clinical supervision Strong clinical skills and a client-centered approach Reliable internet connection and a private, confidential space for telehealth sessions Ability to maintain timely documentation Familiarity with psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, PTSD care, addiction counseling, and behavioral therapy Working knowledge of ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation Exposure to intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations within outpatient or inpatient settings Basic skills in crisis management, crisis intervention, and behavior management Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation standards, and electronic health record systems, ensuring HIPAA compliance Ability to work effectively with diverse populations Strong communication skills for client engagement, case management, and interdisciplinary teamwork Preferred Prior practicum, internship, or field placement experience A niche or emerging area of clinical interest What We Offer Structured clinical supervision toward LPC or LPCC licensure with an approved supervisor Opportunities to work in remote, in-office, or hybrid settings Competitive compensation and flexible scheduling A steady stream of client referrals Malpractice insurance provided A secure, HIPAA-compliant, user-friendly EHR system and telehealth platform Experienced billing and administrative support staff who handle client intake, billing, and collections Ongoing professional consultation and a supportive leadership team invested in your growth Opportunities to work with a diverse client population in a client-centered care environment A collaborative, culturally responsive team dedicated to helping clients achieve meaningful and lasting change Freedom to build a caseload that reflects your interests and strengths as you work toward licensure Ready to Apply?
