The QMHP will provide essential mental health services, including individual and group counseling, to clients with diverse needs. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral health principles and the ability to implement effective therapeutic techniques. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting individuals in their mental health journey, particularly those with autism and other behavioral challenges. Responsibilities Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address clients' mental health needs. Implement therapeutic interventions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy. Collect and analyze data related to client progress and treatment effectiveness. Provide grief counseling and support for individuals coping with loss or trauma. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and participation in their treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances. Document all interactions and interventions in accordance with organizational policies. Experience A background in behavioral health, mental health counseling, or a related field is required. Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly desirable. Familiarity with individual group counseling techniques and therapy modalities. Proficiency in data collection methods relevant to mental health assessments and outcomes. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of mental health.
