Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Supervising Professional to lead and oversee behavioral health and clinical services within our organization. This role is vital in ensuring the delivery of comprehensive, evidence-based care to individuals across diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of behavioral health practices, and a passion for improving patient outcomes through innovative supervision and clinical excellence. As a Qualified Supervising Professional, you will play a key role in guiding clinical teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and clients. Duties Provide supervision and mentorship to licensed clinicians, behavioral specialists, and support staff to ensure high-quality service delivery. Oversee intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for clients with various mental health and developmental needs. Lead individual and group counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and trauma-informed care including PTSD management. Ensure accurate documentation of medical records, treatment notes, and progress reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards. Coordinate case management activities, including crisis intervention, social work services, and community outreach efforts to support client stability and recovery. Conduct regular quality assurance reviews to maintain adherence to clinical protocols, ICD coding standards (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for billing purposes, and other regulatory requirements. Facilitate staff training on topics such as crisis management, behavior management techniques, special education strategies for working with individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and research methodologies. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or equivalent credential required; additional certifications in addiction counseling or pediatric mental health are preferred. Proven experience in behavioral health settings with expertise in working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and pediatrics. Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, trauma-informed care approaches including PTSD care, and behavioral management strategies. Familiarity with medical documentation standards, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for billing purposes, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology. Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based practices such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) or cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while maintaining client confidentiality at all times.
