Flexible Hours; Monday-Friday About Dignity Brain Health Dignity Brain Health is an outpatient psychiatric clinic based in Brookline, Massachusetts seeing patients in MA, FL, NJ, and NH. We provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for adults with depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and related disorders and their psychosocial challenges. We are a small, collaborative, clinician-led practice. Our team values careful clinical thinking, warmth, professionalism, and long-term relationships with patients.

Clinicians are supported by psychiatric prescribers, 4 full time office managers, a full time billing manager, and opportunities for case discussion when needed. We are seeking a master's-level therapist who wants a stable, long-term clinical home rather than a short-term side role. Position Overview We are hiring a telehealth Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to provide outpatient psychotherapy to adult patients. This is a fully remote telehealth position open to candidates residing in the United States, provided they can legally work remotely from their state of residence and meet our licensure, credentialing, and employment requirements. This role will begin part-time and the plan would be to grow to full-time as the caseload develops. The position is best suited for a clinician who values steady referrals, administrative support, collaboration with psychiatric prescribers, insurance-based care, and a long-term team collegial environment. Patient care will begin only after required state licensure and payer credentialing are complete. Compensation $30-$34/hour W-2 , depending on experience, range of therapeutic skills, licensure, availability, documentation quality, and overall clinical fit. This is not a 1099 contractor role. It is a W-2 employee position. Regular compensation reviews are available with potential increases based on reliability, clinical quality, documentation quality, patient retention, productivity, expanded state licensure, and overall fit with the practice. •AMAZING Benefits (approximately $27,000.00/year of value for items below)! Licensing Expectations Candidates may live anywhere in the United States, provided they can legally work remotely from their state of residence and meet our licensure and credentialing requirements.
Strong candidates should:
Hold an active, unrestricted, independent master's-level counseling license in at least one U.S. state Be eligible and willing to obtain Massachusetts LMHC licensure Be willing to complete Florida telehealth registration and/or pursue Florida LMHC licensure Be willing to complete payer credentialing before beginning patient care Candidates may currently be licensed under another state title, such as
LPC, LCMHC, LPCC, LCPC
, or another equivalent independent master's-level counseling license. The key requirement is eligibility for Massachusetts LMHC licensure and Florida authorization/licensure as needed. Associate, intern, provisional, or pre-licensed clinicians are not a fit for this role.

Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy to adult patients by secure telehealth Conduct clinically appropriate intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations for adult psychotherapy patients Develop and maintain appropriate treatment plans Use evidence-based and clinically grounded psychotherapy approaches Help patients develop practical coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, behavioral goals, and relapse-prevention plans Coordinate care with psychiatric prescribers and other clinicians when appropriate Document diagnoses, treatment plans, interventions, patient response, risk/safety assessment, and follow-up plans in a timely and insurance-appropriate manner Use ICD-10 and CPT-aware documentation standards consistent with outpatient psychotherapy billing and medical necessity requirements Assess clinical risk when relevant, develop safety plans when appropriate, and escalate concerns according to clinic policy and standard of care Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA standards Participate in paid administrative, and team meetings as needed Communicate professionally with patients, staff, and clinicians Follow applicable state licensing rules and professional standards Contribute to a positive, respectful, and collaborative clinical environment Clinical Fit We are especially interested in clinicians with experience or interest in treating adults with: Depression Anxiety disorders OCD Bipolar disorder PTSD Eating behaviors ADHD-related functional challenges Relationship and family stressors Patients receiving psychiatric medication management who would benefit from coordinated psychotherapy Experience with CBT, ACT, DBT, ERP, motivational interviewing, supportive psychotherapy, psychodynamic therapy, and/or other structured psychotherapy approaches are helpful. Clinical Boundaries This is an outpatient telehealth psychotherapy role. Dignity Brain Health is not an emergency or crisis-service setting. Clinicians are expected to assess risk appropriately, follow clinic safety protocols, and coordinate higher levels of care when clinically indicated. Administrative Support Dignity Brain Health handles many of the administrative burdens that often make outpatient clinical work stressful, including scheduling support, patient onboarding, billing, insurance claims support, and administrative systems. Clinicians are expected to complete their own clinical documentation and professional communications, but the practice is designed to reduce unnecessary administrative load where possible. We are open to discussing the starting schedule based on candidate availability and credentialing timeline.
