Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a fully licensed Therapist to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral care team. In this vital role, you will deliver evidence-based psychotherapy and clinical interventions to diverse client populations, including individuals and families.. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, trauma, and co-occurring conditions. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and ensure the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality. Duties Conduct thorough client assessments using diagnostic tools such as DSM-5 criteria and ICD coding to determine mental health and behavioral needs Deliver individual therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, and other modalities. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent situations effectively while maintaining safety for clients and staff Facilitate intake processes, develop personalized treatment plans, and monitor progress through ongoing patient assessment and data collection Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and ensuring accurate medical documentation in accordance with clinical documentation standards Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with research, DSM-5 updates, ICD coding changes, and evidence-based practices in mental health counseling and addiction medicine Skills Proven experience in psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, crisis management, and client assessment in therapy settings Strong knowledge of DSM 5 diagnostic criteria. Skilled in crisis intervention techniques and behavior management strategies for diverse populations from various cultural backgrounds Proficient in EMR/EHR management systems for accurate data collection, patient records maintenance, and medical documentation compliance Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team committed to evidence-based practice Join us to empower clients on their journey toward mental wellness!
