Under the supervision and support of Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Chelsea Williamson, you can make your own schedule and enjoy the benefits of a private practice setting. Private practice also allows you to grow in the areas you want as a clinician and we are fully supportive of helping you achieve that goal. Chelsea Williamson has been providing therapy services in the Shasta and Tehama County communities for 13 years. Chrysalis Counseling is an established practice and receives referrals/inquiries daily for counseling services. We are committed to helping our community and providing healing to those in need. Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Master's Degree in counseling psychology or social work. LMFT's, LPCC's, LCSW's welcomed to apply. Registered and in good standing with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an
AMFT, LMFT, ACSW, LCSW, LPCC
-or- recent MA/MS graduate pending BBS registration (application must have already been submitted). Available to provide a minimum of 10 client sessions per week.
Other Qualification Preferences:
Have education or professional experience working with adults, couples, teens, and/or adolescents Energetic, motivated, compassionate, personable, hard-working, and reliable. Passionate about working with adults, families, couples, teens, and adolescents. Strong desire to work with client's struggling with past or recent trauma.
Hours:
Clinician must be available to provide at least 15 client sessions per week (provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by the employer).
For AMFT/ACSW's:
clinician's will need to be available for at least 1 hour of clinical supervision each week, as well as 1 additional hour of clinical supervision for Associates providing more than 10 hours of direct counseling in a week.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform counseling services to clients as scheduled. Reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required. Up to date licensure status and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed. Respond to phone calls and/or emails within 24 business hours. Be able to collaborate with schools, other mental health professionals, doctors, and other community based organizations. Maintain written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by the employer or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the client. Keep an accurate and up-to-date calendar and client information on Simple Practice. Take payments from clients for services provided. Attend mandatory staff meetings as directed by the employer. Conduct counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the goodwill and reputation of the employer. Keep up to date on CEU's required by the BBS.
