Established to address gaps in mental health support for South Asian and Middle Eastern populations, the organization offers comprehensive medical, mental health, and community-centered services through its Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) designation. Overview We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Therapist/Counselor to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical mental health practices, with expertise in providing evidence-based therapies across a variety of populations. This role involves delivering direct patient care through individual, group, and family counseling, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities to support clients' mental health and overall well-being. Duties Provide an assessment of the client's mental health and substance abuse needs to develop a service plan. Provide supportive counseling and advocacy for clients suffering from co-occurring disorders, including substance abuse. Provide DSM-5 diagnoses and the ability to utilize research-based treatment modalities effectively. Understanding and practicing the professional ethics code of conduct and HIPAA compliance. Qualifications Master's degree in social work or counseling Eligible to take
LCSW/LCPC
exam within 90 days of employment, a plus Substance abuse experience is a plus but not required Experience providing behavioral health services to adult and/or adolescent clients. Experience with MAT-based services is a plus, but not required Compliance with organizational TB, influenza, MMR, HepB, Tdap, and Varicella vaccination policies is required.
