This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through evidence-based practices in both in person outpatient and telehealth settings. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments. Provide individual and group therapy sessions. Implement strategies to support clients experiencing mental health and/or co-occurring disorders. Develop personalized treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management, patient assessment, and discharge planning in inpatient or outpatient settings. Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling or related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) or equivalent in the respective state; licensure must be current and unrestricted. Dual
LCMHC/LCAS
is preferred. Proficiency in evidence-based practices. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation. Experience working in outpatient clinics or hospital settings with knowledge of medical terminology and medical records management. Knowledge of clinical documentation standards including treatment planning, medical documentation requirements, and HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration; experience with telehealth platforms is preferred. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while maintaining a positive attitude that motivates clients toward recovery.
