MOBILE CRISIS CLINICIAN EMERGENCY SERVICES FULL TIME - EXEMPT

General Summary:
Work collaboratively with local police departments and community partners to provide emergency assessments and community based supports, referrals and linkages, for individuals in the community experiencing behavioral health crisis.

$70,000-$84,000 annually, depending on licensure and experience. Essential Responsibilities:
Assist in the collection of all required documents for grant proposals when necessary. Ride along with local police departments, when appropriate, to co-respond to individuals in the community who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. Collaborate with local police departments, BH Link, and other community agencies, to complete risk assessments and safety plans for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis in the community. Coordinate referrals to longer term service providers and provide social support resource information to community members in crisis. Complete emergency certifications when necessary. Provide documentation of services consistent with Thrive, State, and Federal regulations. Provide crisis intervention focused training to local police departments as needed. Carry and enliven a positive Thrive image consistent with the Thrive's Guiding Principles and professional code of ethics.
Education, Experience and Competencies:
Master's degree in mental health counseling, clinical psychology, social work or other related field required. Licensure preferred. Minimum of one-year experience in the human service field working with adults, children, adolescents, and families to provide assessment, triage, and crisis intervention for mental health and substance abuse, including certification for hospitalization. Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certification required Working knowledge of community resources and systems of care preferred
