South Carolina Youth Advocate Program (SCYAP) is seeking Licensed Therapists and Counselors to provide psychotherapy to children, youth and their families face-to-face, in the client's home and/or in the community . SCYAP offers competitive pay, clinical support and supervision and experience with a diverse client base and opportunities for professional growth and impactful work. Hours are flexible to accommodate family schedules and range from 15-40 hours per week depending on caseload size.
What SCYAP asks of you:
  • Experience proving mental health counseling and psychotherapy treatment interventions
  • Experience or willingness to work with vulnerable populations and experiences including but not limited to child welfare, juvenile justice, trauma, abuse and neglect, depression, anxiety and attachment
  • Positive attitude and dedication to working with an at-risk population
  • Excellent clinical judgement & willingness and desire to work collaboratively with treatment team
  • High energy, motivated individuals with strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Maintain current documentation for client's file & timely submission of client documentation -Commitment to working 15-30 hours per week, compensation based on services provided/fee-for-service.
What SCYAP requires of you:
  • Master's degree in human services field (Social Work, Counseling, Family Therapy, etc.)
  • Licensed by the state of South Carolina as one of the following:
  • LMSW (in supervision or willing to pursue)
  • LISW
LPC/LPC-A
(in supervision)
    LMFT/LMFT-A
    • Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation, required registration and insurance What SCYAP offers you:
