Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Addiction Counselor to join our team. This role involves providing top-notch individual and group counseling and treatment services, tailored to meet the needs of our participants based on the current ASAM criteria. The successful candidate will be a key player in our multidisciplinary team, helping to create a difference in the lives of those affected by substance abuse.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessments and evaluations. Provide individual and group counseling services to participants and their families. Document progress and services efficiently in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive treatment planning and implementation. Perform additional duties as necessary to support the clinic's objectives and patient needs.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field. Minimum of two years of experience in addiction counseling. Certification, or eligibility to be certified, as a CAC or LAC in South Dakota. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
