Full Job Description About Us:
Provive Wellness is a leading provider of substance use and mental health treatment, committed to offering compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals on their recovery journey. Our Brentwood, TN facility provides a structured and supportive environment where clients can achieve lasting recovery. We are seeking a dedicated Evening Group Facilitator to lead therapeutic groups and support clients in their healing process.
Position Overview:
The Evening Group Facilitator will be responsible for conducting structured therapy groups for clients with mental health and substance use disorders during evening hours. This role requires expertise in facilitating discussions, providing psychoeducation, and fostering a safe, engaging, and therapeutic environment. The facilitator will collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care and support client progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate structured group therapy sessions focusing on mental health, substance use recovery, coping skills, and relapse prevention. Utilize evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care in group facilitation. Create an inclusive and supportive environment where clients feel safe to share and participate. Monitor client engagement and provide feedback to the clinical team regarding client progress and needs. Ensure compliance with all state regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards. Document group session summaries, attendance, and notable client interactions in a timely and accurate manner. Collaborate with the clinical team to support individualized treatment plans and address client concerns. Stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in mental health and substance use treatment. Uphold professional and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and respect for all clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Certification or licensure in addiction counseling or mental health (LPC, LCSW, LADAC, or equivalent) preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in group facilitation within a mental health or substance use treatment setting. Strong understanding of substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and recovery principles. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage diverse client populations with empathy and professionalism. Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation requirements. Availability to work evening hours and maintain a consistent schedule.
