Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Master Level Counselor to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide evidence-based mental health and behavioral care to diverse populations, including individuals with co-occurring disorders, substance use challenges, and trauma-related conditions. Experience Valid licensure such as
LADAC II
w/ Master's, LMSW, LPC or LCSW are required. 2 years experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, or behavioral health settings with diverse populations. Demonstrated expertise working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, trauma-related conditions. Client assessment techniques, diagnostic evaluation using DSM-5 criteria, and treatment planning. Medical documentation standards including CPT coding for billing purposes and ICD coding for diagnoses. (athenaOne) Excellent communication skills for client engagement. Duties Conduct comprehensive client intake evaluations and risk assessments to determine mental health status and develop individualized treatment plans using
S.M.A.R.T
Goals aligned with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria. Provide specialized individual and group counseling for addiction medicine, and trauma recovery, including crisis management. Manage clinical documentation according to HIPAA standards, ensuring accurate medical records, progress notes, and billing using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as EMR/EHR platforms ( athenaOne ). Adhere to medical terminology standards and ICD coding (ICD-9/10) Maintain professional development by staying current with evidence-based practices in mental health counseling, addiction counseling, applied behavior analysis, and crisis intervention strategies.
Pay:
$29.00 - $31.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
