Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) Coordinator to lead and coordinate mental health services within our outpatient clinical setting. This vital role involves managing patient care, facilitating therapy sessions, and ensuring seamless program operations to support individuals on their journey toward recovery. Duties Coordinate and oversee daily operations of the Intensive Outpatient Program, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and regulatory standards such as HIPAA and ICD coding. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including intake evaluations, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring using medical terminology and medical records management. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies, crisis management plans, and behavior management techniques to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma such as PTSD or grief. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, psychiatrists, special education professionals, and medical staff to develop personalized treatment plans that address complex needs like autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, or chronic pain. Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient care records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and CPT coding standards. Lead case management efforts by coordinating outpatient services, inpatient referrals if necessary, and tracking data collection for clinical research initiatives. Experience Proven experience in behavioral health or mental health counseling within outpatient or inpatient settings. Extensive knowledge of psychotherapy techniques including motivational interviewing, social work practices, addiction counseling, grief counseling, and gender issues counseling. Hands-on experience working with children, adolescents, geriatrics, individuals with autism or disabilities, and those requiring special education or pediatric care. Familiarity with crisis intervention protocols, crisis management procedures, and working with people experiencing PTSD or trauma-related issues. Strong background in medical terminology related to

ICD-9/ICD-10

coding systems for diagnostic evaluation documentation. Experience with telehealth platforms for remote patient engagement is highly desirable. Ability to handle complex cases involving mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, or chronic pain conditions. Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques including applied behavior analysis (ABA), psychodynamic therapy, and group therapy facilitation.
