Role:
The Neighborhood Clinic in Abilene, TX is looking for a passionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing team. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community by providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions to a diverse client population Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as clinically appropriate Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and agency standards Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate holistic patient care Participate in case consultations, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development Connect clients with community resources and support services as needed
Requirements:
Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field Experience providing direct clinical services in a community health or outpatient setting preferred Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations Experience with electronic health records (EHR) documentation
