Work Environment This full-time position will allow you to leverage telehealth technologies to conduct sessions with clients from the comfort of your own home or preferred location. You will work within a dynamic and collaborative team of professionals, maintaining open communication and sharing resources to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care. The remote nature of this role provides flexibility while still allowing you to make significant impacts in your clients' lives. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to understand each client's unique circumstances, crafting individualized therapy strategies that align with established mental health guidelines. Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, to promote healing and resilience. Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, ensuring that each therapeutic interaction is focused on achieving client-specific objectives. Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and share insights that enhance overall treatment strategies. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to ethical guidelines and organizational policies. Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health counseling. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mariveles Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse population of clients presenting with various mental health needs. You will have the opportunity to support individuals experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your ability to tailor therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of clients in a remote setting will be essential in fostering positive outcomes. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field. Valid, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, where you have successfully supported clients from various backgrounds. Preferred Experience Specialized training or certification in therapeutic practices aimed at family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly desirable. A demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, employing culturally sensitive approaches in therapy. Compensation and Benefits The starting salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, dependent on your expertise and experience.
