full-time Texas Wellness Collective is looking for a Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician/Therapist to provide tele-Health/Hybrid clinical positions in the Austin area. Texas Wellness is an outpatient counseling office welcoming a new counselor who wants flexible hours to make their own schedule and is ready to join a growing practice with a great team! If you are looking for a relaxed, team-focused, private practice atmosphere then we would love to hear from you! Our offices are available Monday through Saturday to fit you and your clients' schedules.

Job Description :

As a contract therapist, you are responsible for providing effective mental health counseling to assigned clients, coordinating with primary care physicians, referrers, and completing and maintaining documentation and records.

Major Responsibilities :

Meets with clients to assess their needs, provides complete diagnosis, and in collaboration with clients, determines manageable problem focus and treatment priorities.

Clients may include:

children, adolescents, families, adults, and elders. Presents timely treatment plans to electronic health records (EHR) software. Interacts effectively with each client. Works with clients and, when appropriate, their support systems to produce behavioral, cognitive, and/or emotional changes that meet treatment goals. Evaluates client progress and revises treatment plans as needed. Works collaboratively with payers, referrers, primary care physicians, and community agencies in providing effective treatment to clients. Completes all necessary documentation within required time parameters for each client.

For example:

assessments and treatment plans, insurance authorizations, problem-oriented progress notes, and treatment summaries. Maintains current licensed status in Texas and, if applicable, obtains licensure as agreed upon hire.

Must have basic computer skills:

navigate the internet, manage documentation in standard electronic health record (EHR) system and basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software.

Requirements/Qualifications :

Master's or Doctorate Degree in social work, mental health counseling, clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or counseling psychology from an accredited institution Must be licensed or license eligible (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) and have completed all coursework for licensure Be familiar and sensitive to diverse cultures and ethnicity We offer competitive compensation and provide two models to allow for flexibility based on each person's needs! d revenue based on a percentage of cash-pay clients' collections Hourly rate based on client sessions per week and paid biweekly
