Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and be dedicated to providing high-quality care to individuals and families. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, in various settings such as outpatient clinics and inpatient facilities. The LPC will utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in their mental health journey. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients. Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and art therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage crisis situations effectively. Develop treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, incorporating motivational interviewing techniques. Facilitate family counseling sessions, focusing on child and family dynamics. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper

coding for diagnoses. Engage in case management activities to coordinate care among different service providers. Participate in clinical research projects as needed and contribute to data collection efforts. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes. Provide support for clients dealing with PTSD, addiction issues, chronic pain, grief, and other mental health challenges. Experience Candidates should have a robust background in the following areas: Psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, crisis management, behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. Experience working with children and families, particularly in child & family counseling settings. Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and patient assessment processes. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred. Telehealth experience is a plus as we continue to expand our services. A strong understanding of social work principles and the ability to conduct effective intake assessments.
