The clinic serves adults with mental health and substance use disorders. Working under the clinical supervision of the Clinical Director, the Associate Clinician will provide direct client care, including individual and group counseling, while gaining supervised hours toward full licensure in a supportive, growth-oriented environment. This is an opportunity to join a new clinical program from its early stages, working alongside leadership with a strong track record of building and expanding behavioral health programs nationwide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide individual and group counseling to adult clients with mental health and/or substance use disorders under the clinical supervision of the Clinical Director. Conduct intake assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and collaborative treatment planning. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with Texas Health & Safety Code Ch. 462, HHSC standards, and clinic policy. Participate in regularly scheduled clinical supervision, case consultations, and treatment team meetings. Support crisis intervention and safety planning for clients as needed. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team, including therapists, counselors, and administrative staff. Uphold client rights, grievance procedures, and confidentiality requirements (HIPAA) in all aspects of care. Assist with utilization review documentation and periodic treatment plan updates. Participate in staff orientation, ongoing training, and quality improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field. Texas associate-level licensure required (LMSW, LPC-Associate, LMFT-Associate, or equivalent), in good standing and under an approved supervision plan. Experience working with adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred. Working knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices and ethical guidelines. Strong documentation, time-management, and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues. Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Commitment to client-centered, evidence-based care. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must have a strong commitment to client-centered care and a willingness to work collaboratively with clients and their families.

COMPENSATION

Competitive pay commensurate with experience and licensure status.
