Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Mobile Crisis Response Licensed Clinician to provide immediate mental health support and crisis intervention services within the community. This vital role involves responding to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises, including those with co-occurring disorders, developmental disabilities, or substance use challenges. Responsibilities Respond promptly to crisis calls and mobile assessments, providing immediate clinical intervention in diverse settings such as homes, schools, or community locations. Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing DSM-5 criteria and ICD coding to evaluate patient needs and risk levels. Develop individualized crisis management plans, employing de-escalation techniques and behavioral therapy strategies to stabilize individuals experiencing acute distress. Provide evidence-based interventions including psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, grief counseling, and group therapy tailored to client needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts, ensuring continuity of care for individuals with complex mental health conditions or co-occurring disorders. Maintain accurate medical documentation and electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Engage in ongoing training related to trauma-informed care, PTSD management, autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, addiction counseling, and crisis risk assessment. Support high-risk populations through specialized interventions for trauma recovery, substance use disorders, behavioral management, and mental health assessments. Skills Extensive experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, and crisis intervention within community or hospital settings. Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques and behavioral therapy approaches for diverse populations. Strong knowledge of child & family counseling principles along with experience working with children with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Familiarity with hospital-based care environments and acute care protocols for psychiatric patients. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments utilizing DSM-5 criteria; familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/10) is preferred. Skilled in crisis management strategies including de-escalation techniques and risk assessment procedures for high-risk individuals. Competence in managing electronic health records (EHR), medical documentation standards, medical terminology, and CPT coding practices. Excellent communication skills for client engagement, group facilitation, and interdisciplinary collaboration while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health conditions; knowledge of addiction counseling is advantageous.
