In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies to promote recovery and resilience. Duties Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify client needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Provide direct support through individual and group counseling sessions focused on mental health counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, and working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and facilitate positive behavioral change. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention and crisis management strategies to ensure client safety. Maintain detailed medical documentation and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while accurately coding services using CPT coding standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for case management, patient assessment, and research initiatives aimed at improving clinical outcomes. Engage in telehealth services to expand access to mental health care across diverse populations including those with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Conduct behavioral management and social work interventions tailored to individual needs within inpatient or outpatient settings. Participate in ongoing professional development related to ICD coding updates, medical terminology, and current best practices in mental health treatment. Experience Proven experience providing psychotherapy or clinical counseling in outpatient or inpatient environments. Demonstrated expertise in working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics across various settings such as clinics or hospitals. Hands-on experience with crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols. Familiarity with medical records management and medical documentation standards aligned with HIPAA compliance.
