Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Qualified Mental Health Professional to provide comprehensive mental health services in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves assisting with diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy. The qualified candidate will ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain accurate medical documentation while fostering a supportive environment for clients' mental health and well-being. Please note that in person weekend availability is required for this position. Duties Assist thorough patient assessments, including intake evaluations and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating various therapeutic modalities such as individual and group therapy. Provide direct support through individual and group counseling sessions addressing issues like ADHD, anxiety, depression, addiction, gender identity, and autism spectrum disorders. Implement crisis management strategies to ensure client safety during acute episodes or emergencies. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote mental health services when appropriate. Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and families to coordinate care. Engage in clinical research or data collection efforts to improve treatment outcomes. Stay current with medical terminology, ICD coding updates, CPT coding practices, and relevant legal requirements related to mental health services. Qualifications Preferred Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field. Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and addiction counseling preferred. Experience working with children & family counseling, pediatrics, and autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable. Strong crisis intervention skills along with experience managing crisis situations effectively. Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health diagnoses using

ICD-9/ICD-10

coding systems. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience maintaining confidential medical records. Experience delivering services via telehealth platforms is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in outpatient or inpatient settings. Excellent communication skills combined with cultural competence and sensitivity to gender issues counseling.
