Registered Peer Recovery Specialist (RPRS) - Mental Health IOP A Time 2 Heal Mental Health Services Llc Newport News, VA Job Details Part-time | Contract $22 - $24 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Recovery peer support Behavioral health center experience Working with individuals with mental health conditions Peer support advocacy Working with adult populations Full Job Description Job Overview Part-Time | Monday-Thursday | Immediate Start Strength & Serenity Mental Health IOP is seeking a Virginia Registered Peer Recovery Specialist (RPRS) to join our adult Mental Health IOP team.
IOP Hours:
Monday-Thursday, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM Responsibilities
  • Provide peer recovery support to adults participating in Mental Health IOP
  • Facilitate peer-based recovery and wellness activities within scope
  • Support clients with recovery goals, coping skills, and community integration
  • Encourage client engagement and participation in IOP services
  • Assist clients in identifying natural and community supports
  • Collaborate with QMHPs and licensed clinical staff
  • Participate in treatment-team coordination as appropriate
  • Complete timely and accurate peer-service documentation Qualifications
  • Current Virginia Registered Peer Recovery Specialist (RPRS) credential
  • Behavioral health or mental health experience preferred
  • Experience working with adults preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Reliable and able to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Available during scheduled IOP hours
  • Available for immediate start Part-time position.

Pay:
