Job Description
Therapist
- LPC, LCSW, LMFT or Resident in Counseling Petra Counseling Services is growing, and we are looking for therapists to join our team in Newport News, Virginia.
- Part-time and full-time opportunities are available, with the ability to build a schedule that works for you and your clients. Clinical supervision for Residents in Counseling
- Supervision is provided as part of employment for residents who meet caseload requirements. Training and professional development
- We regularly provide opportunities for additional training, consultation, and continuing education. Administrative support
- We handle billing, credentialing, office expenses, scheduling support, and other administrative responsibilities so clinicians can focus primarily on their clients. A supportive team
- Private practice can sometimes feel isolating. We want Petra to be a place where clinicians can ask questions, consult with one another, learn, and feel supported in their work. Faith-based counseling is available
- We provide Christian counseling for clients who specifically request it.
Petra:
Provide outpatient counseling to individuals, couples, families, and/or children and adolescents based on their areas of competency Complete assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate and consult with other clinicians when appropriate Participate in supervision, consultation, and professional development as applicable About Petra Petra Counseling Services was built around the belief that therapists do their best work when they are supported, trusted, and given opportunities to grow.
