They are currently seeking Licensed or Unlicensed Clinician to join a Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) team. This role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact by supporting clients in crisis through assessment, counseling, treatment planning, and case management.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 11:30am-8:00pm. This position requires that you work 1 weekend per month; provide on-call coverage at least 1 week per month and work half of the organizations observed holidays What You'll Do Conduct client intakes, assessments, diagnostic interviews, and triage referrals Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and psycho-educational groups Provide individual, family, and group counseling, crisis intervention, and prevention services Manage clinical needs of CSU clients during assigned shifts Coordinate case management and link clients to community and medical resources Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other records Build collaborative relationships with community partners Provide on-call support (1 week/month) and weekend coverage (1 weekend/month) Offer direct shift supervision of staff in the absence of CSU supervisors/manager Attend professional training and development opportunities
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or related field (from an accredited college/university) Licensed or license-eligible Mental Health Professional in Virginia (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) Minimum of 1 year working with individuals with serious mental illness Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills Valid driver's license (VA) Clean background check and able to pass a drug test
