OVERNIGHTS

Maintain a stable environment for adults with mental health and/or substance use challenges. This is a full-time position that works at a hospital diversion program that supports adults having a mental health crisis. This is a unique opportunity to gain a broad level of experience in the fields of substance use and mental health. Awake overnights.

Responsibilities:

Provide supportive counseling, medication management, and crisis intervention Help residents strengthen coping and symptom management skills Maintain the overall functioning and cleanliness of the programs Plan and prepare nutritious meals Provide short-term case management and referrals to appropriate levels of care Facilitate groups Administer medication

Requirements:

One year of experience in the social service field Valid driver's License and use of a personal vehicle Ability to work after hours, holidays, and overnight shifts, flexibility in willingness to cover urgent/emergency coverage shifts and callouts

Structure:

Full-time Awake overnights Non-exempt AFSCME Union (dues will apply) Starting at $22.52 an hour with shift differential We offer a competitive salary commensurate to experience
