Full-time | 36-40 hours/week | Day/Evening coverage Overview Medasource is partnering with a large regional healthcare organization seeking experienced Behavioral Health Crisis Clinicians to support Emergency Department behavioral health operations within a fast-paced acute care environment. This role works closely with ED providers, nursing staff, and care teams to support patients presenting with psychiatric, emotional, and behavioral health concerns requiring immediate assessment and intervention. Responsibilities Conduct behavioral health and psychiatric crisis assessments for patients presenting in the Emergency Department Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to support patient disposition planning and ongoing care coordination Assist with identifying appropriate levels of behavioral health care and community/inpatient resources Support patient safety planning and crisis intervention efforts Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in multidisciplinary discussions regarding patient care and treatment recommendations Preferred Experience Experience in emergency behavioral health, crisis response, inpatient psych, acute care, or community mental health settings Strong assessment, de-escalation, and crisis intervention skills Ability to work effectively in high-acuity and fast-paced patient care environments Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Additional Details Dedicated Emergency Department assignment Full-time contract opportunity with potential extension No travel required Equipment and on-site resources provided Ideal Backgrounds May Include Emergency Department Behavioral Health Crisis Stabilization Psychiatric Emergency Services Acute Behavioral Health Licensed Clinical Social Work Mental Health Counseling Crisis Intervention Services Requirements WA licensed (LMHC, LICSW preferred, LMHT viable)

Pay:

$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
