Family Counselor

Partners with Families & Children (Partners) prevents, interrupts and repairs cycles of abuse and neglect within families. We are a nonprofit that has been around for 38 years providing exemplary programs for families and an encouraging and fulfilling work environment for staff.
Summary:
This is a 36 hour per week professional position responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment and case management services for adults and children struggling with mental health and often substance use disorders. It includes planning, developing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating individual mental health recovery plans and providing therapeutic services for individuals and families. Productivity and deliverable expectations for this position are at least 20 reportable/billable service hours and 19 services per week. This position may also be responsible for the clinical oversight of master's level interns from various universities.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job.
Education/Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have: a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology and/or Counseling Certification as a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) or SUDP-t would be beneficial, but is not required a minimum of five (5) years paid experience in mental health OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates/Licenses:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to meet the requirements for a Mental Health Professional (Masters of Social Work, or Masters in Psychology, Counseling, or related social science), and as a licensed Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist by the State of Washington, Department of Health.

  • $39.30 per hour Family Counselor
  • Licensed:
    $34.65
