Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans addressing the unique needs of each client, including pre-crisis and crisis management strategies. Ensure timely and accurate documentation that complies with state and federal regulatory standards. Implement evidence-based tools for screening and evaluation as directed by our clinical team. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and enact positive behavior support plans tailored to individuals' requirements. Actively engage in licensing and accreditation initiatives to uphold organizational standards of care. Serve as a link between clients and relevant service systems, including state agencies and community partners, to facilitate comprehensive support. Maintain open communication channels to uphold contract standards and strengthen Brighter Soul's mission in the community. Network with local, state, and federal agencies to promote our programs and explore potential funding opportunities. Participate in ongoing personal and professional development through workshops, conferences, and community meetings pertinent to mental health. Embrace and promote the organization's mission, values, and principles during all client interactions. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, ensuring effective service delivery. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing mental health challenges, those in recovery from substance use, and clients with developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Your role will be pivotal in guiding these individuals to achieve their personal goals and enhance their overall quality of life through empathy-driven therapies. Qualifications A Master's Degree in the mental health field is mandatory. Possession of a valid and independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license. Preferred Experience Experience in telehealth counseling and familiarity with virtual therapy platforms is highly desirable. Prior work with varied patient populations, including those suffering from substance use issues or mental health disorders, will be advantageous. Experience in developing crisis intervention plans and positive behavior support plans.
