Part-Time Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Oconto County Jail | Oconto, Wisconsin 20 Hours Per Week | Flexible Monday-Friday Schedule Open to: Social Workers Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) Psychiatric Registered Nurses (Psych RN) Not every mental health role allows you to truly slow things down and connect with patients in meaningful ways. What You'll Do:
Conduct mental health assessments and assist with treatment planning Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and emotional support Coordinate care with the Medical Director and onsite healthcare team Assist with detox support and behavioral health stabilization Verify mental health history and psychotropic medications Maintain accurate and confidential documentation Support discharge planning and continuity of care referrals Provide mental health education and training to facility staff as needed

Qualifications:
Active licensure/certification in applicable discipline Experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, or counseling preferred Strong communication and assessment skills Ability to maintain professionalism and boundaries in a correctional setting
