Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and clinical diagnoses utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute psychiatric episodes effectively and ensure patient safety. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with clinical ethical guidelines, incorporating patient goals, progress notes, and medical records within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including psychiatrists, case managers, educators, and medical professionals—to coordinate care for individuals with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities. Engage in ongoing research and data collection to enhance clinical practices and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Requirements Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience working in community mental health settings. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavior management techniques. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, and families—especially those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or complex behavioral needs. Strong crisis management skills with the ability to perform mental health assessments during emergency situations effectively. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation; experience with CPT coding is a plus. Proficiency in telehealth therapy platforms and electronic health record systems ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards. Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions; experience working within inpatient or outpatient clinics preferred. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration; ability to work independently while contributing to team efforts.
