Huntington, WV 25701 Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our faith-based therapy practice. In this role, you will provide clinical mental health counseling to individuals, couples, or families while seamlessly integrating biblical principles and Christian worldview perspectives for clients seeking spiritual integration in their care.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Counseling:
Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, diagnose mental health disorders, and develop tailored treatment plans.
Faith-Based Integration:
Provide spiritually integrated counseling grounded in Christian theology and biblical wisdom, tailored to each client's specific comfort level and therapeutic goals.
Client Care:
Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy (e.g., CBT, EMDR, DBT, ART, EFT) across various presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflicts, and grief.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain prompt, professional, and HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation in our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
Participate in staff meetings, peer case consultations, and prayer/fellowship meetings with team members.
Qualifications & Requirements Licensure:
Active, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of
West Virginia Education:
Master's or Doctorate in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
Faith Alignment:
Strong personal commitment to Christian faith and values; ability to articulate and integrate biblical truths into clinical practice respectfully and ethically.
Ethical Standards:
Demonstrated adherence to professional counselor ethics (ACA Code of Ethics) while maintaining sensitivity to diversity within the Christian community.
Experience:
Minimum of [1-3] years of post-licensure clinical counseling experience preferred.
