Medical, Dental, and 401(k) Position Summary Renaissance Recovery is seeking a compassionate and organized Behavioral Health Case Manager to join our substance use disorder treatment team. The Case Manager will provide direct support to clients throughout the treatment process while coordinating care with families, clinical staff, healthcare providers, and community resources. This position is ideal for someone with experience in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, addiction recovery, mental health, or case management who enjoys working directly with clients in a collaborative treatment environment. The Case Manager will maintain a caseload of approximately 18 clients and play an important role in helping clients navigate treatment, recovery resources, healthcare benefits, and ongoing support services. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of approximately 18 clients Complete admission notes, case management documentation, and client records accurately and on time Meet regularly with clients to assess case management needs and treatment progress Provide appropriate updates to families and members of the clinical treatment team Coordinate care with outside healthcare providers, community agencies, and other support services Assist clients with accessing insurance, healthcare benefits, and community resources Facilitate case management and recovery-focused groups Document client interactions, progress, referrals, and services in the electronic medical record (EMR) Monitor and identify changes in clients' mental health, substance use, and overall needs Advocate for clients and help address barriers that may affect treatment or recovery Maintain professional communication with clients, families, clinical staff, and outside providers Collaborate with therapists, medical staff, operations staff, and other members of the treatment team Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, organizational policies, and applicable behavioral health standards Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, addiction treatment, mental health, or a related setting Previous case management experience strongly preferred Knowledge of addiction, recovery principles, treatment planning, and community resources CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong documentation and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple clients, deadlines, and competing priorities Ability to maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team Dependable, self-directed, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced treatment environment Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment Drug and alcohol treatment Addiction recovery Behavioral health Residential, PHP, IOP, or outpatient treatment Case management Group facilitation Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Insurance and benefits coordination Why Join Renaissance Recovery?
