Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals facing various challenges, including behavioral health issues, addiction, and family dynamics. This role requires a strong commitment to crisis intervention and management, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients to develop effective solutions tailored to their needs. Duties Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized service plans. Provide crisis intervention and management services to clients in distress. Offer addiction counseling and support for individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Facilitate access to behavioral health resources and services. Mentor clients in developing coping strategies and life skills. Supervise case management activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Collaborate with community organizations, including Section 8 housing programs, child welfare agencies, and workforce development initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress, and outcomes. Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system, including Medicare services. Provide childcare support when necessary, ensuring a safe environment for children involved in cases. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field. Experience in crisis intervention, crisis management, or behavioral health is essential. Familiarity with addiction counseling techniques and motivational interviewing is highly desirable. Previous supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities. Strong understanding of child welfare practices and policies. Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs and workforce development resources is beneficial. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
