Job Description
Behavioral Health Specialist II -
D., or Ed.
D. In addition, must hold LMHC, LICSW, or Licensed Psychologist within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; Two years within clinical specialty, with at least one year in psychiatric crisis intervention, inpatient social work; PHP/IOP setting desirable.
PHP Note:
The compensation range noted above represents the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Eligible for up to $20,000 BONUS Holyoke Medical Center is looking to hire a Behavioral Health Specialist II for our PHP/IOP Programs!- To facilitate group therapy focused on mental health and substance use.
- To provide case management services and link patients with aftercare/discharge planning.
- To provide intakes/psychosocial assessments for incoming patients.
- Ability to work with patients with co-occurring mental illness and substance use.
- To complete insurance verifications/reviews.
- To complete paperwork in a timely and organized fashion.
- To participate in multidisciplinary weekly treatment team meetings.
Level of education required:
M.Ed., M.A, M.S., MSW, Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.
