In this vital role, you will coordinate comprehensive rehabilitation services, including behavioral therapy, mental health counseling, and case management, to promote recovery, independence, and well-being. Your expertise will help facilitate individualized treatment plans, foster client engagement, and ensure seamless communication across clinical teams. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including intake evaluations and diagnostic evaluations, to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Lead individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and addiction counseling. Implement motivational interviewing techniques to motivate clients toward positive behavioral change and recovery goals. Manage clinical documentation accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans that address medical, psychological, and social needs. Provide crisis intervention and crisis management support during emergencies or acute episodes involving mental health or behavioral concerns. Supervise clinical staff and interns, offering guidance on best practices in mental health counseling, behavioral management, and clinical supervision. Requirements This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma, but preferably a bachelor's degree in a mental health related field. Requires at least 2 years of experience in working in a mental health related field. Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, co-occurring disorders, or mental health conditions. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, (Current Procedural Terminology), and EMR/EHR systems. Demonstrated expertise in behavioral health techniques such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work practices, psychotherapy. Experience working with diverse populations from various cultural backgrounds; sensitivity to cultural differences is essential. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and case management; experience working with families is highly valued. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and data collection. Crisis intervention skills combined with the ability to handle high-pressure situations confidently; supervisory experience is a plus.
