This vital role involves fostering a safe, structured, and nurturing community that promotes sobriety, personal growth, and lasting recovery. The House Manager will serve as a compassionate leader, ensuring residents receive the guidance, support, and resources necessary to thrive in their journey toward wellness. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals working toward sustained sobriety and improved mental health. Responsibilities Supervise daily house operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and respectful environment for all residents. Help maintain house cleanliness and organization Ensure residents follow house rules and program expectations Provide crisis intervention and behavioral health support to residents experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges. Maintain a safe, respectful living environment Facilitate intake processes for new residents, including documentation and initial assessments. Manage conflict resolution among residents through effective communication and conflict management techniques. Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and record keeping related to resident progress, incident reports, and case management documentation. Conduct or assist with drug and alcohol testing as required Monitor curfews and house accountability Support residents with social work needs, including working with families and connecting individuals to community resources such as addiction counseling or mental health services. Support residents in attending meetings and staying accountable Proven supervising experience in residential or behavioral health settings. Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to de-escalate high-risk situations effectively. Serve as a mediator if conflicts arise between residents when necessary. Knowledge of addiction counseling principles, behavioral health practices, and case management strategies. Experience working with individuals from underserved communities or high-risk populations. Certification in CPR, first aid, manual handling, and medication administration preferred or willing to obtain upon hire. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, staff, and community partners. Familiarity with data collection systems, filing procedures, and documentation related to social work or home & community care environments.
