- ED•PRN 101 Truman Medical Center Job Location UH Behavioral Health Kansas City, Missouri Department Community Mental Health Center Position Type Part time Work Schedule varied Hours Per Week 4 Job Description This position is responsible for providing mobile and/or onsite mental health crisis services.
Minimum Requirements:
A Master's Degree from an accredited program in social work, psychology, counseling, or related human service field is required 1- 2 years' experience working in a social services role Expert level knowledge of psychiatric terminology and the process of mental illness and community resources Demonstrated knowledge of the theory and practice of human services at the Master's level Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with multicultural staff and clientele Trained in crisis intervention If driving is a requirement for the employee, he/she must meet the requirements specified in the Fleet Driving Safety and Compliance Policy and must continue to meet these requirements as a condition of employment.
