Under the direct supervision and oversight of an appropriately licensed or certified Behavioral Health professional, individuals in this classification also perform screening assessments of behavioral and emotional functioning, intelligence, achievement, and adaptive functioning. Incumbents in this classification are responsible for working closely with other professional disciplines such as psychiatry and social services, and they may also serve as members of, or consultants to, interdisciplinary teams. May serve in supervisory roles as based on organizational/facility guidelines, and may provide direct supervision to employees in less advanced classifications.
